THE REPAIR
Built to work tight under load
The trailer stinger was disassembled so the worn bushings and pin could be removed. New components were installed to correct excess movement at the connection and return the assembly to dependable working condition. This type of wear should be addressed before it causes poor tracking, uneven loading or additional damage to the stinger assembly.
The progress photos show the visible wear on the old pin and the careful disassembly required to access the connection. Replacing the pin and bushings together gives the repaired joint the proper fit instead of pairing a new component with an already worn surface.
